TOEIC Part 3 - Short Conversations

TOEIC Paper Types Part 3 Short Dialogues are questions in which you listen to a conversation between two or three people and select the most appropriate answer to a question on the question paper from four views. The questions are organized in the order in which the conversation takes place, so you can read the passage and get an idea of the topic before the conversation starts.

There are a few keywords to remember, and you're more likely to get the correct answer if the fingerprint is paraphrased than if it repeats the keyword verbatim, and you should focus on keywords that appear after phrases like but, however, and actually that change the flow of the conversation.

Troubleshooting tips

Throughout the conversation, you'll often be asked questions about the purpose of the conversation, the identity of the person, and the location of the conversation, which you'll need to infer from the context of the conversation by looking for keywords.
